ANTEPARTUM DOULA
An antepartum doula provides the mother and her family with much needed physical and emotional help during pregnancy if complications require the mother to be on bedrest. Many tasks like household organization, care of older siblings, running errands and providing companionship would be performed.

DOULA TRAINING CENTER OF VA
ANTEPARTUM DOULA CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
This training consists of:
12 hours of doula classroom training
2 books from reading list
1 written essay
1 resource list
You will also provide antepartum support to 2 families
and get 4 evaluations completed
(2 evaluations are required for each family)
1 from the mother
1 from the partner
This doula training is approved by Doula Training Center of VA and after completing the requirements, all certification paperwork will be sent to Doula Training Center of VA. Your certification will be awarded by Doula Training Center of VA.
